MO AMBER Alert UPDATE/CORRECTION 12/25/13
Earlier this morning I received an erroneous report that I posted that the child/victim who had been abducted had been rescued safe. With deep regret I must update this post to report that the child was not rescued safe however, was recovered deceased at the hand of his abductor. The Jefferson City Police Department is reporting that six-year-old Markell Beasley was found deceased in Cape Girardeau on Tuesday night. A news release states that Markell and his suspected abductor, Demetrius Beasley, were found dead after police responded to a shots fired emergency call.
